HEARTS ON FIRE

Discover the spirituality that motivates
Pope Francis and millions of other christians.

We would like to invite you to come on a journey of discovery with us, guided by the spiritual insights of St Ignatius of Loyola.
St Ignatius was passionately commited to following Christ in the world. His spirituality is focused on helping busy people to better hear and respond to God’s invitation in their lives.

Have you ever found yourself asking questions like, ‘What’s the meaning of my life?’ or ‘Who is God really?’ or ’How do I know what God wants of me and for me?’ or the simple question of ‘How do I develop a personal relationship with Jesus?’If you have wondered about these or similar questions this course is  for you!

We would like to offer a variety of ways of prayer to enable us to come to know Jesus more intimately, to love him more dearly and so to be able to to better follow him.

·         In this course we will explore Ignatius’s unique insights into how we become more aware of God’s activty in our lives.
·         Prayer tools to enable us to grow in friendship with the Lord.
·         Tools to discern God’s will, and to become more aware of our own deepest desires.

Several young lay people from the Vicariate of Ingwavuma have been trained by the Jesuit Institute to give these retreats.

These retreats are for Lay and religious who would like to deepen their relationship with God and to learn how to be better able to help others in their relationships with God.

We ask you to think of people in your parish who would benefit from this sort of retreat .
Next retreat: At your convenience, at the retreat centre or in your parish.
